1963 Thunderbird Sports Roadster, Owned 55 years with just 47,000 original miles. Lovingly maintained and enjoyed. Newer paint, top, carpet, gas tank and weatherstrip. Rebuilt engine and mechanically sound. Very nice Original Wire Wheels, Rare leather interior option, glass, bumpers and trim. Added dual exhaust and rear sway bar. Never any rust or accidents. I inherited this and a 1962 M Roadster many years ago and am keeping the even rarer M. These limited production personal luxury cars will always be desirable and have a following because of their Rocket styling and low production numbers. Only 1200 in 1962 and 445 in 1963. Elvis had one of the first and had an off road event supposedly because of the wire wheels. Even with their high price and scarcity many were badly neglected. This car has the ORIGINAL Marti report factory documents. I use FoMoCo or NAPA Gold filters in my cars and Driven HR2 10W-30 high zinc Racing Oil. Originally sold in Illinois and has been in heated garage in Iowa its whole life. Sparingly driven around the Midwest and as far as Colorado. Great car for cruising or a collection. Excellent documented nut and bolt restorations easily bring $100k++ prices but you wouldn’t want to drive them very much. May consider possible partial trade of nice classic such as full size 60s 4spd, 70 0r 72 442, 63 Tbird coupe, early 60s 9 passenger wagon. Air is desirable. Let me know what you might have.
